Atlanta, GA - Greensboro College Baseball (6-2) traveled to begin a three-game series at Oglethorpe (2-3) on Saturday and fell by the score of 12-2.
The Petrels scored in the first to take a 1-0 lead, and then busted out for 6 runs in the fourth. Two errors in the inning by the Pride led to the big inning, as Oglethorpe took a 7-0 lead.
After Oglethorpe added one more in the sixth inning to make it 8-0, Greensboro got on the scoreboard with 2 runs in the seventh after an error and then an RBI hit by
Alex Vazquez.Â
The Petrels scored 4 more times in the bottom of the seventh to end the game via run-rule.Â
