Faudoa and Severson's Big Days Lead Greensboro to 9-4 Win Over Roanoke

Salem, VA – Greensboro College Baseball (6-1) defeated Roanoke (5-1) in a midweek rematch in Virginia, 9-4.
 
Isaiah Faudoa was the story on the mound in this one, going 7 innings, allowing 2 hits and 1 run, while striking out 6. Faudoa also got his first win of the season.
 
At the plate, Jacob Severson led the way with 4 hits in the leadoff spot. Carson Herod drove in 3 runs with a big 3 RBI double in the 5th inning to blow the game open for Greensboro.
 
Parker Broadus threw the 9th inning for Greensboro and struck out two to secure the win, as the Pride improve to 6-1 on the season.
 
Notes:
  • Greensboro scored 8 unanswered runs after going down 1-0 early.
  • This is Greensboro's first win against Roanoke since 2020.
