Salem, VA – Greensboro College Baseball (6-1) defeated Roanoke (5-1) in a midweek rematch in Virginia, 9-4.
Isaiah Faudoa was the story on the mound in this one, going 7 innings, allowing 2 hits and 1 run, while striking out 6. Faudoa also got his first win of the season.
At the plate,
Jacob Severson led the way with 4 hits in the leadoff spot.
Carson Herod drove in 3 runs with a big 3 RBI double in the 5
th inning to blow the game open for Greensboro.
Parker Broadus threw the 9
th inning for Greensboro and struck out two to secure the win, as the Pride improve to 6-1 on the season.
Notes:
- Greensboro scored 8 unanswered runs after going down 1-0 early.
- This is Greensboro's first win against Roanoke since 2020.
