Greensboro, NC - Greensboro College Men's Lacrosse (4-0) earned their fourth straight win to start the season on Saturday, defeating Averett (0-3) 27-4.
Averett scored the first goal of the game, but after that it was all Greensboro. The Pride led 4-1 after the first quarter and then busted out for 11 second quarter goals.
They scored three more times in the third period, and then finished off the game with 9 goals in the fourth.
Alex Mattoon had a career high 8 goals along with 2 assists, giving him 10 points on the game.
Seth Woods tied a career high with 7 goals, while
Chas Gilroy had 4. Quniton Solomon had 12 ground balls while
Colin Byrne had 10.
Will Pailthorpe came through with 5 caused turnovers. In goal,
Braeden Mitchell improved to 3-0 with a 7 save game.

Greensboro will travel to Bridgewater on February 25 for a 4:00 pm matchup.
