Baseball Falls to Roanoke on Wednesday Night

Greensboro, NC - Greensboro College Baseball (2-1) suffered their first loss of the season on Wednesday as they fell to Roanoke College (1-0) 16-0 at Ted Leonard Park.

The Maroons' bats were hot all night, as they totaled 17 hits in this one including 4 doubles. They would also steal 4 bases. 

Grayson Curtis got the start on the mound for Greensboro, going 1.0 inning. Isaiah Faudoa went 3.0 innings out of the bullpen, while Nolan Holley made his collegiate debut out of the 'pen in the fifth inning.

The Pride offense could only muster 4 hits on the night. Evan Sykes had two of those hits, both being doubles.

Notes:
- Sykes is now in sole possession of 4th place in school history with 40 career doubles.
