Raleigh, NC - Greensboro College Women's Basketball (9-13, 6-9) traveled to William Peace (14-9, 11-5) on Saturday and were defeated 64-60.
The Pacers started off strong scoring 19 first quarter points. Greensboro turned the tables in the second, outscoring William Peace 23-19 to trim the score to 38-37 at the half.
The Pride then took a 52-50 lead with a 15-point third quarter. The teams battled back-and-forth in the fourth period, but the Pacers defense was strong and held Greensboro to just 8 fourth quarter points and were able to squeak out a 4-point victory.Â
Kensly Stewart scored a team high 10 points for the Pride while
Jenx Ervin scored 8 points with 3 rebounds.Â

- Greensboro's bench scored 34 points.
- With the win, the Pacers sweep the season series against the Pride.
