The Greensboro College Baseball team has released their 2026 season schedule, as they are set for another exciting season after coming off a 2025 campaign that saw them reach the USA South Conference Championship Series.
Greensboro will host Washington & Lee to begin the season for a three-game series February 13-15. The first seven contests for the team are at home and against ODAC opponents, as they host Roanoke College on February 18 and then host Averett University for a three-game set February 20-21.
The team then travels to Roanoke February 25 and then will travel south to Atlanta, GA to battle Oglethorpe University February 27-28 for a three-game series. The team returns back home for a weekday match-up with Lynchburg on March 3.Â
One of the key highlights of the regular season is the annual Triad Invite that will take place March 6-8 as Greensboro hosts the event once again. The Pride went 2-1 in the Triad Invite in 2025, defeating Adrian College and Montclair State while falling to Maryville College.
After a non-conference game against Muskingum, Greensboro begins USA South Conference action against NC Wesleyan at home February 13-14. Greensboro winds down their non-conference schedule with a game at Lynchburg on March 25, an April 8 battle against Hampden-Sydney, and a cross-town rivalry home match-up with Guilford on April 22.
The conference schedule includes home series against the Battling Bishops, William Peace, Methodist, and Brevard while the team will travel to Pfeiffer, Mary Baldwin, and Southern Virginia. The first round of the USA South Conference Tournament will begin on April 30.Â
Greensboro College Baseball head coach,
Chris Fenisey, says of the 2026 schedule, "I'm really looking forward to watching our group compete this spring. This schedule should be a great test and I cannot wait to get started."
Greensboro looks to again be conference title contenders following their 28-16-1 (15-5-1) record a season ago.
