Ferrum, VA - Greensboro Men's Soccer (4-2-3) traveled to Division II opponent Ferrum (3-1-1) on Wednesday and fell 3-1.
Ferrum scored first in this one in the 26th minute on a goal by Jonathan Nicacio as the Panthers took a 1-0 lead. Just a few minutes later, freshman
Kalle Hermansson evened the scored on a penalty kick and tied the game 1-1.
The Panthers took a 2-1 lead in the 72nd minute to take a 2-1 lead, which would end up being the game-winning goal. Ferrum added a third goal in the 87th minute to cap off the win.
Greensboro had 11 shots with 7 on goal. Hermansson and
Jalen King each had 3 shots taken, while goalkeeper
Alvaro Hermosa came up with 4 saves on the game.Â
