Ashlie Linker scored her first career goal on Saturday as Greensboro Women's Soccer (4-2-2) defeated Regent (1-6-1) 1-0 on Saturday.
Linker's goal came in the 17th minute of the game to put the Pride up 1-0 early. Greensboro dominated the match with 19 shots compared to the Royals only getting one shot off.
Of Greensboro's 19 shots, 13 were on goal. Regent's keeper, Kristen Miller, had a big game as she totaled 12 saves.
Camryn Marcondes, and Linker each had 3 shots on the night.
Trinity Robinson had 2 shots on goal, as did
Grace Garraghty.

Shyann Hansen earned her second straight shutout in goal.
Next up for Greensboro is a home match with USA South Conference rival Brevard on Tuesday. Kickoff is set for 6:00 pm.
