LaGrange, GA - Greensboro Men's Soccer (4-1-3) scored a late second half goal to tie LaGrange College (2-1-4) 2-2 on the road Saturday afternoon.
Greensboro scored first after freshman
Kalle Hermansson scored his 3rd goal of the season on a penalty kick in the 38th minute. However, just three minutes into the second half, the Panthers tied the game with a goal in the 48th minute.
LaGrange then took a 2-1 lead in the 73rd minute, looking to close out the Pride in the final 17 minutes. With just under 6 minutes left,
Ori Edry came up big with a game tying goal on an assist by
Sergio Garcia-Barrios, and that would be how the game ended. Edry's goal was his 2nd of the season.
Greensboro totaled 11 shots on the game with 6 on goal. Goalkeeper
Alvaro Hermosa had 4 saves on the afternoon.
Greensboro will take on Division II Ferrum College on September 24th in their next contest.
