Justin Barry scored a career high eight goals and
Alex Mattoon a career high 6 goals in a 17-12 victory over conference foe William Peace. The win extends the team's win streak to three games.
The Pride got out to a 6-3 lead after the first quarter. Barry scored three of his eight goals in the quarter. The Pacers outscored Greensboro 3-2 in the second quarter, but the Pride still held an 8-6 halftime advantage.
Greensboro got hot again in the third quarter, scoring five goals and extending the lead to 13-8. Barry scored three more goals in the quarter while
Alex Mattoon scored twice. Both teams scored four times in the fourth as the Pride sealed their third win in conference play to improve to 3-2 in the USA South.
Mattoon totaled six goals on the night.Â
DiMaggio Wilson dished out six assists, while
Quinton Solomon had fourteen ground balls and sixteen face off wins. Four different Pride players had two caused turnovers as the team totaled fourteen of them.
In goal,
Hayden Hansen had eleven saves and earned the win.Â
The Pride will hit the road again on Friday when they play Huntingdon. Game time is set for 1:00 (CST).
