Montgomery, AL - The Greensboro Men's Lacrosse team traveled to play Huntingdon in a USA South Conference matchup on Friday and fell 10-7.
The game remained close throughout, but the Pride couldn't muster enough offense to overcome the Hawks. Huntingdon led 3-2 after the first quarter and still held a one goal lead at halftime, 5-4.
The Hawks were able to shutout Greensboro in the third quarter 2-0, and the teams both scored three goals each in the fourth.
Justin Barry led the Pride with three goals, giving him forty-eight on the season.
Leo Ringelberg had two goals while
DiMaggio Wilson and
Connor Ferreria each had one.
Barry also led the team in ground balls with five. Barry and
Guy Galardi had two caused turnovers each. In goal,
Hayden Hansen had a career high seventeen saves.Â
Greensboro will play again on April 16th when they host Pfeiffer at 7:00 pm.
