Greensboro, NC - Greensboro baseball hosted Roanoke on Tuesday in a non-conference game and fell 16-5.
The Maroons got started early with two runs in the first inning, four in the second, and five in the third. They would score five more in the fifth.Â
The Pride did get four runs in the bottom of the fifth to get on the board.
Bobby Rossi earned an RBI after a bases-loaded hit by pitch followed by
Scotty Diekman scoring on a wild pitch. BobbyÂ
Hayes then earned his first career RBI on a bases loaded walk.
Greensboro added one more in the seventh before the game was called after seven due to run-rule. Greensboro could only muster three hits on the day but did draw nine walks.Â
The Pride defense committed three errors on the afternoon.
JA'Heim Brown got the start on the mound for Greensboro, going two innings.

Greensboro will resume USA South play on Friday when they host Pfeiffer in game one of a three game series. First pitch is set for 4:00 pm.
