Greensboro, NC - Men's lacrosse hosted USA South foe Southern Virginia on Wednesday night and fell 19-5.
The Knights started out hot, scoring five goals in the first quarter. Greensboro did get one first quarter goal from 
Leo Ringelberg. SVU scored another four goals in the second quarter and took a 9-3 lead into the half.
The Pride were shutout in the third period as the Knights extended their lead. Greensboro got two goals in the final quarter by 
Ben Little and 
Connor Ferreria. 
Ferreria led Greensboro with two goals on the night. 
DiMaggio Wilson, Ringelberg, and Little also scored for Greensboro. 
Quinton Solomon led the Pride in ground balls with eight, while 
Guy Galardi and 
Will Pailthorpe had one caused turnover each.
In goal, Nathan Fox had six saves while 
Hayden Hansen had ten.
Greensboro will travel to Randolph College for their next matchup on Saturday.
