Virginia Beach, VA - The Greensboro men's lacrosse team played at the Virginia Beach Sports Complex on Tuesday against Wabash and fell 17-3.
The Pride struggled early as Wabash scored five first quarter goals. They then scored four more in the second quarter to go ahead 9-0 at halftime.
Greensboro came out hot in the second half scoring three goals in quarter number three.
Alex Mattoon scored two straight goals that were assisted by
Justin Barry, and then
DiMaggio Wilson also scored off an assist from Barry later in the quarter.
That would be all for Greensboro, however, as they were shutout in the fourth quarter. In goal,
Hayden Hansen got the start and ten saves while Nathan Fox played the second half and had seven saves.
The Pride will return to Virginia Beach on Thursday when they play Russell Sage College at 2:00 pm.
