Fayetteville, NC - Greensboro women's basketball played their second straight game against Methodist on Saturday afternoon and fell 64-32.
Azuria Barrino led Greensboro with 13 points.
Despite a close game with the Monarchs on Friday night, Saturday's game was the opposite as Methodist took control early on and didn't look back. The Monarchs scored 23 first quarter points to take a 23-11 lead after one period.
Each eam scored 12 points in the second quarter, but then Methodist outscored Greensboro 16-5 in the third to take full command.
The Pride only scored 4 points in the fourth as the Monarchs cruised to their 13th win of the season. Other scorers for Greensboro included
Nataya Atwater (9 points),
Meah Brooks (8 points), and
Taya Phelps (2 points).
The Pride will play again on February 12th when they travel to Meredith. Tip-off is set for 6:00 pm.
