Greensboro, NC - Wednesday night was the first home match of the season for the Greensboro women's soccer team as they hosted Ferrum College. The Panthers came out on top 4-1 thanks to a strong offensive performance.

Ferrum got out to a 2-0 lead late in the first half to put the pressure on the Pride early. Greensboro fought back at the start of the second half, as Amery Skinner scored her second goal of the year to make it a 2-1 game.

The score remained 2-1 for much of the second half, but Ferrum added two goals at the end of the half to stretch the lead to 4-1. Four different players scored for the Panthers on the contest.

In goal, senior Lindsay Fox had 4 saves while Ferrum's Ashli Wuss had 7.

Greensboro plays again on Saturday when they travel to Averett. Kick-off is set for 1:00 pm.
