Greensboro, NC - The Greensboro men's soccer team was back at home on Friday night, as they hosted Carolina University and fell 6-0.
With the win, the Bruins improve their record to a perfect 7-0. They scored three goals in each half, as they controlled the match throughout.Â
The first goal of the game came on an own goal right in front of the net to make 1-0 in favor of the Bruins. Luke Spillane-Davis scored the first of his two goals in the 22nd minute to make it 2-0.Â
In the second half, with the score 4-0, Carolina University tacked on two more goals in the 83rd and 85th minutes to make the score 6-0.Â
Cristian Del Cid had 7 saves in goal for Greensboro, while the offense totaled 5 shots, with 3 of those on goal.Â
The Pride are back in action on October 2nd, when they travel to Brevard for their first USA South Conference match of the season. Start time is scheduled for 4:00 pm.
