Misenheimer, NC - It was a big night for junior
Kelci Brooks as she had a career high 20 kills in Greensboro volleyball's 3-1 victory over Pfeiffer. The win brings Greensboro's USA South Conference record to 2-2.
The Pride took the first set 25-21 to set the tone early. In the second set, it looked like the Falcons would even the match, as they had a 24-20 lead. However, Greensboro went on a 6-0 run and won the set 26-24.
Pfeiffer fought back to take the third set 25-22, but the Pride finished the match with a convincing 25-17 win in the fourth set to secure their 9th win of the season.
Kelci Brooks led Greensboro with 20 kills while also coming up with 15 digs.
Payton Wright had 13 kills and 3 block assists.
Karla del Castillo had 5 block assists, while
Morgan Mayfield led Greensboro in digs with 18.
Jaylyn Templeton had 13 digs on the night, and
Grace Young had 13 digs. Templeton also had 30 assists.

Kevin Troup said of the win, "It was a solid all around performance for us. We had players step up and make plays down the stretch."
Greensboro will hit the court again when they travel to take on Meredith College on Saturday. The match begins at 1:00 pm.
