Skinner's Two Goals Help Lead Pride to 6-1 Win Over Regent

Greensboro, NC - It was a high scoring affair at Pride Field Wednesday afternoon as the Greensboro women's soccer team took down Regent 6-1.

The scoring started early as the Pride got on the board in the 1st minute of the game. Emily Walsh put one in the back of the net for her second goal of the season to make it 1-0.

In the 15th minute, Skyler Molnar scored to make it 2-0, and 15 minutes later Maci Hulver headed one home to make it 3-0.

Right after the halftime break, Amery Skinner scored her first goal of the match off an assist by Shae Brennan to extend the lead to 4-0. Just two minutes later, Cassidy Olszewski was able to score her second goal of 2024.

Skinner would score the sixth and final goal for Greensboro in the 65th minute on another assist by Brennan. Regent's Marissa Crawley scored on a free kick later in the game for the Royals' only goal.

Lindsay Fox got the start in goal for the Pride, collecting 3 saves. Greensboro out-shot Regent 21-7 on the match.

The Pride will travel to Charlotte, NC on Saturday to play Johnson & Wales, with kick-off set for 3:00 pm.
