Greensboro, NC - Men's and Women's Cross Country returns to Greensboro College in 2024, and the schedules for both teams have been announced.

The 2024 season is the first year since 2011 that Greensboro has competed in Cross Country. Zack Krieger will lead the men's and women's teams as head coach. Krieger is a 2018 graduate of East Stroudsburg University in Pennsylvania where he was a four time All-Conference runner.

Krieger says of the upcoming season, "We're lucky enough to be in a central location that allows us to compete in local and competitive meets, with a variety of courses and terrains to prepare for the USA South Conference meet. In terms of expectations for the season, being the inaugural year of competition, much of it will be focused on gaining collegiate racing experience, adapting to the shift of the high school 5k to the collegiate 8k/6k race distance, and showing the community that Greensboro College Cross Country is back."

Both teams will compete in the Fleet Feet XC hosted by Catawba College in Salisbury, NC on September 7th. The teams will then travel to Pfeiffer University to participate in the Pfeiffer Invitational on September 14th. The third meet of the season is the Greensboro College XC at Hagan Stone Park in Greensboro on September 28th, with the final regular season meet taking place in Charlotte, NC on October 11th hosted by Queens University. The teams will then compete in the USA South Championships on November 11th in Rocky Mount, NC.
