High Point, NC - Thursday afternoon began the Triad Invite Truist Point Stadium in High Point, and Greensboro Baseball would fall 8-2 against Adrian College in game one of the Invite. 

The Bulldogs got a strong pitching performance from their pitching staff, holding the Pride to just two runs on five hits. Evan Sykes did homer in this one, as he blasted a solo home run to left field in the second inning.

Ian Bast got the start on the mound for Greensboro, going six innings. He gave up eight hits and seven runs. The bullpen pitched well for the Pride, as Dylan Ward and Bryson Schramm went the final three innings and gave up just one run.

Greensboro hosts the University of Rochester on Friday, with first pitch scheduled for 2:30 PM.
