Brevard, NC - The Greensboro women's soccer team went on the road to Brevard on Wednesday and were defeated 7-0.
It was a tough match for the Pride, as the Tornados had control throughout the game. Just 2:40 in to the game, Brevard scored their first goal off the foot of Kiara Porcelli. Porcelli scored 3 goals in the game.
Mikayla Zvekan also scored 3 goals for the Tornados, as the tandem of Zvekan and Porcelli scored 6 of the 7 goals for Brevard.Â
Greensboro had a total of 6 shots, while goalie
Lindsay Fox had 10 saves. Fox's 10 saves is one shy of her career high 11 saves.
The Pride will come back to Pride Field this Saturday, as they host Carolina University in a non-conference match. Kick-off is scheduled for 4:00 pm.
