Head coach
Mike Johnston said after the match, "I'm really happy for our seniors to go out on senior night and grit out a win. We missed several chances early but we've talked all year about next play, next rep, next opportunity. Sophia had a great strike and we were able to hang on defensively. This senior class has been a really special group for us, no question. We're excited to see what we can still become over the last portion of the season."
Greensboro will play again on October 16th when they host Southern Virginia. Kick-off is scheduled for 5:00 pm.
