As they faced off against host school, St. Mary's College of Maryland, in a thrilling showdown that ended in a 0-0 tie.

In a game marked by superb defensive play and outstanding goalkeeping, both teams displayed their resilience and resolve throughout the full 90 minutes of regulation play. Despite the absence of goals on the scoreboard, the match was far from lacking in excitement.

Head Coach Mike Johnston commented on today's 0-0 tie, saying, "I think 0-0 was probably a fair result, as both teams had quality chances to win. We got some fantastic minutes from our bench and I am proud of our grit as a team. We have to find better communication in our midfield and attacking third, but I am confident that will come. I'm proud of this group's effort playing back to back games in this type of environment."

Maci Hulver and Amery Skinner were relentless in their pursuit of opportunities, taking two shots each during the game. Their efforts kept the St. Mary's defense on their toes, with each strike pushing the envelope closer to breaking the deadlock. Additionally, Svea Eckstrand and Hanna McCarthy contributed to the offensive drive by adding shots of their own.

The Pride's defensive line proved a forbidding force, thwarting numerous attempts by St. Mary to find the back of the net. Goalkeeper Sofia Pagnamenta, in particular, had a standout performance with several critical saves that kept Greensboro College in the game.
