GREENSBORO, NC - The Greensboro College Volleyball team displayed their prowess on the road as they faced off against Pfeiffer University on a thrilling match that had fans on the edge of their seats. The Greensboro Pride came out victorious, showcasing their incredible teamwork with match scores of 25-14, 25-19 and 25-17.
The entered the Pfeiffer University gymnasium with a mission to secure a crucial victory and maintain their competitive edge in the conference. The match featured remarkable individual and team efforts. On offense, the Pride fired on all cylinders. Payton Shiflet led the team with an impressive 15 kills, proving to be an offensive force to be reckoned with. Krista Brantley and Kelci Brooks chipped in with 8 and 7 kills, respectively, showcasing their versatility on the attack.Â
On the defensive front, Taylor Cotie shined with 3 crucial blocks, providing a solid presence at the net to stifle Pfeiffer's offensive efforts.
