Dylan Ward came into the game in the 9th in relief of Jacob Baldini, and closed out the game on a flyout then strikeout with two Knights on base to preserve the Pride win.
Braxton Rupp's single RBI-single in the top of the 8th brought in the go-ahead run at 4-3, after
Branden McMillian tied things up with a RBI-single down the left field line in the 7th.
Started Jacob Baldini went 8.1 innings from the mound, allowing three runs and seven hits in the win.
Adam Weber went 2-3 from the plate, including a RBI-double in the 6th inning.
The hard-fought win moves GC to 12-19 on the season, and the two teams will finish the series with a double header tomorrow at 12pm and 3pm.
