GREENSBORO, NC. — The Greensboro College men's lacrosse team stayed in the win column with a 15-5 win over Brevard College on Tuesday night on Pride Field.

Greensboro (6-3) saw Austin Abourjilie and Will Beyer score five goals apiece, while Ethan Pierce added two more goals.  This was part of an offensive onslaught that saw GC take 49 shots, and put 33 on goal.

GC led 2-1 after goals by Dom Scali and Abourjilie, and then increased the lead to a 6-2 halftime lead following two more goals from Beyer and another from Abourjilie.  Aaron Larios-Neubert added another at the 5:34 mark of the 2nd quarter to pad the lead.  The Pride defense kept up the physicality in the second half, holding Brevard to just three more goals.

Andrew McDonald led the Tornadoes with two goals for Brevard (1-7) who put 20 shots on goal.  Pride goalie Chris Stallings made seven saves in the win.

The Pride return to action Saturday, April 2nd when they travel to Huntingdon at 1 p.m.
