GREENSBORO, NC. – The Men's Lacrosse team had a convincing 15-9 win over Methodist at Pride Field on Friday afternoon. Greensboro used a big third quarter, outscoring the Monarchs 7-3, to propel the team to the win after a slim 5-4 lead at halftime.
The Pride attack was led by the Ethan Pierce, Michael Meley, and Gage Pearman, as Meley and Pearman finished with hat-tricks, and Pierce led the way with four goals.
The Pride defense kept a high-scoring Monarch offense in check, holding the visitors to just five goals. Greensboro goalie Chris Stallings had a huge performance, making 22 saves on the day.
