Greensboro's men's lacrosse team hit the road to face-off against the University of Lynchburg on Saturday afternoon (Feb 19). Greensboro would come up short, losing 26-2.
Aaron Larios-Neubert got the Pride on the board at 1:26 left in the second period, but Lynchburg had already established a 14-0 lead at that point.
Austin Abourjilie netted the other goal for the Pride, who had no answer for the onslaught from the Hornets.
Ryan Kenney led the way for Lynchburg with 6 goals of his own in the win.
The loss drops Greensboro to 1-1 on the season, and they will look to bounce back as they travel to play Ferrum College next Saturday at 7:00 PM
