Greensboro, NC - The Greensboro College Volleyball team defeated Methodist University 3-1 (24-26, 25-13, 25-21, 25-22) on Tuesday evening at Hanes Gymnasium, in the first round of the USA South Tournament. With the win the Pride (20-12) advance to Thursday's tournament semifinals, where they will face William Peace in Raleigh.
- Greensboro recorded 77 points and 67 kills, to go along with 6 aces.
- The Pride finished with 4 blocks, 62 assists and 72 digs in the match.
- Payton Shiflet registered a team high 24 kills, Krista Brantley finished second on the team with 13 kills and Jade Vrobel added 10 kills to finish third on the team.
- Jaylyn Templeton led Greensboro with 57 assists, while Lauren Mantel led the team with 27 digs, with Lauren Kunke recording 14 digs in the win.
