Greensboro, N.C. – The Greensboro College Women's Soccer team traveled to Methodist University on Tuesday evening for a USA South Conference match. The final for the night cap would favor the Monarchs with a final 3-1.
The Monarchs would strike first in the 20
th minute, sneaking a goal through the top corner to find the back of the net. The Pride goalkeeper,
Sofia Pagnamenta and back line held their own for the remainder of the half not allowing another goal. The scoreboard would hold at 1-0 heading into the half.
In the second half, the Monarchs held strong doubling their score in the 56
th minute and potentially scoring the game sealer in the 77
th minute. The Pride would show some fight as
Cassidy Olszewski would find the back of the net from
Julia Howland for the Pride's lone goal to make the final 3-1.

Sofia Pagnamenta would gather 8 saves on the night.
The Greensboro College Women's Soccer team will host Salem College on Saturday, October 29
th at 1:00PM for the regular season finale. Head Coach
Mike Johnston will also be honoring his seniors prior to Saturday's match.
