Greensboro, N.C. – The Greensboro Women's Soccer team traveled to conference foe Meredith College on Saturday afternoon collecting a 0-0 draw as they headed back to Greensboro.
Greensboro had several close calls throughout the entire first half, putting the Avenging Angels goalkeeper's talents to the test. Despite the opportunities the scoreboard held at 0-0 at the end of the first half.
In the second half, the Pride came out hot again forcing 12 shots up that would unfortunately not find the back of the net. When the clock struck zero, the score would remain a 0-0 draw.
The Pride put forth an excellent effort outshooting the Avenging Angels 20-7 on the day with 12 of those coming in the second half.
Sierra Tursich would lead the team with 4 shots on the day and Pride goalkeeper,
Sofia Pagnamenta would have 2 saves.
The Pride next travel to Fayetteville, N.C. to face the Monarchs of Methodist University on Tuesday October 25
th at 6:00PM.
