The Greensboro College volleyball team went to Rocky Mount, North Carolina for a tri-match against Salem College and the host Bishops. The Pride swept the Spirits before falling to NC Wesleyan.
Against Salem, the Pride won in straight sets, 25-14, 25-15 and 26-24.
Natalie Rosinski led the offense with 10 kills as
Hailey Stout and
Carly Uhlir added seven kills each.
Barrett Davis totaled 15 digs as
Lauren Mantel added 12.
Jade Vrobel and Rosinski helped the defense with four blocks for each of them.
Mckenzie Norris had 32 assists and two aces in the match.
In the second match of the day, Greensboro fell 3-1 to NC Wesleyan (19-25, 21-25, 25-23, 23-25). Once again Rosinski had a team-high 11 kills and six blocks in the contest.
Lauren Kunke and Mantel had 15 and 13 digs, respectively. Norris collected 36 assists and two aces.
The Pride (9-6, 1-2) faces Mary Baldwin on Tuesday, September 28 on the road. Start time is 6:00 p.m.
