The Greensboro College volleyball team opened the USA South Conference schedule against Southern Virginia University. The Pride fell to the Knights in straight sets, 3-0.
Southern Virginia (9-2, 1-0) won by the scores of 25-21, 25-22, 25-20. Haley Stout and
Carly Uhlir led Greensboro (8-5, 0-1) with seven kills apiece. Uhlir also paced the defense with 19 digs.
Mckenzie Norris tallied 24 assists while
Lauren Kunke also had 15 digs on the evening.Â
The Knights' Courtney Pinkston had a match-high 16 kills as Emma Steiger had 25 assists while Elle Warnick contributed 31 assists.
Greensboro travels to Rocky Mount, North Carolina on Saturday, September 25. The Pride will face Salem College at 2:00 p.m. before facing North Carolina Wesleyan at 4:00 p.m.
