The Greensboro College women's soccer team traveled to Emory University to face the Eagles. The Pride fell on the road, 6-0.
Emory (3-0-1) scored the opening goal in the second minute and never looked back. The Eagles added three more goals in the first half as they led 4-0 going into the half.
In the second half, Emory tallied two more goals to seal the win.
Hannah Rice started in goal and played the entire first half, making eight saves.
Lindsay Fox subbed in to start the second half and made six saves.
Greensboro (2-2) returns to the pitch on Wednesday, September 15 as it faces Bridgewater College. Start time is 4 p.m.
