The Greensboro College women's soccer team fell to Bridgewater on the road, 5-1.
The Eagles (4-1) scored in the eighth to open the game followed by its second goal just two minutes later to go up 2-0. Bridgewater added another goal in the 12th minute to hold a 3-0 at the break.
The hosts scored the first goal of the second half in the 63rd.
Taylor Harrison got the Pride (2-3) on the board in the 71st. However, Bridgewater scored the final goal of the game in the 81st to win by the four-goal margin.
The Eagles outshot Greensboro 16-2 and held a 10-1 advantage in corner kicks.
The Pride hits the road to face Randolph-Macon on Saturday, September 18. Start time is 2:00 p.m.
