The Greensboro College volleyball team went to Fayetteville, North Carolina for a tri-match with host Methodist University and William Peace University. The Pride split on the afternoon.
Greensboro defeated Methodist won 3-1 by scores of 30-28, 25-16, 17-25 and 25-17. In the second match, GC fell in straight sets to the Pacers (28-26, 25-23 and 25-17).
In the first match against Methodist,
Carly Uhlir led the attack with 16 kills while also having 21 digs and five blocks.
Katrina O'Neill added 12 kills as
Mckenzie Norris assisted on 33 points.
Lauren Mantel led the defense with 23 digs and tallied four assists.
The second match was paced by Uhlir as well for GC as she had 12 kills with O'Neill contributing another 10. Norris collected 24 assists as Mantel had 30 digs over the three sets.Â
Greensboro (12-9, 4-5) faces Southern Virginia on the road on Wednesday, October 13. Start time is 6:00 p.m.
