The Greensboro College women's volleyball team battled Southern Virginia University in a USA South Athletic Conference matchup. The Pride fell in five sets to the Knights.
Southern Virginia (18-3, 9-1) won by scores of 20-25, 25-21, 23-25, 25-20, 15-8. Greensboro falls to 12-10 on the year and 4-6 in conference play.
Hailey Stout had a double-double on the evening with 11 kills and 10 digs.
Katrina O'Neill had eight kills and also blocked three attacks.
Carly Uhlir paced the defense with 25 digs while also tallying eight kills.
Mckenzie Norris had 27 assists while
Lauren Mantel added 14 digs.
Natalie Rosinski led the block brigade with five.
Greensboro returns to Hanes Gymnasium on Saturday, October 16 for a tri-match with Salem College and North Carolina Wesleyan College. First match is against N.C. Wesleyan at 12:00 p.m.
