The Greensboro College women's volleyball team traveled to face the Averett University Cougars in a USA South Athletic Conference matchup. The Pride fell on the road, 3-0.
Averett (21-7, 11-5) won by scores of 25-15, 25-17 and 25-23. Greensboro (14-16, 6-10) were led by
Hailey Stout seven kills, assists and digs.
Sarah Oakes and
Katrina O'Neill each had four kills on the evening.
Mckenzie Norris had 14 assists with six digs while
Lauren Mantel added seven digs.
Natalie Rosinski blocked five attacks as
Carly Uhlir contributed two blocks.
Lauren Montren led the Cougars with nine kills, 11 digs and two aces. Kinsley Stevens and Makkenzie Compton each had double-digit assists with 19 and 11, respectively.
Greensboro wraps up the 2021 regular season on Saturday, October 30 with a tri-match in Raleigh, North Carolina. First match is against Methodist at 2:00 p.m. followed by a contest with William Peace.
