The Greensboro College women's volleyball team faced Emory & Henry College in a non-conference matchup. After going up 2-0 in the match, the Pride fell to the Wasps in five sets.
Emory & Henry (9-11) won by scores of 24-26, 22-25, 25-19, 25-15 and 15-10. The hosts had a hitting percentage of .269 compared to .182 for GC.Â
Hailey Stout led Greensboro (14-12) with a match-high 21 kills and added nine assists.
Carly Uhlir tallied 13 kills and five aces for the Pride.
Mckenzie Norris recorded 43 assists with 14 digs while
Lauren Kunke paced the defense with 15 digs.
Carley Williams and Camden Jones led the way for the Wasps with 15 kills. Jones also had 16 digs on the evening.
Greensboro travels to Raleigh, North Carolina for a tri-match with Pfeiffer University and the host school, Meredith College. The first match against Pfeiffer is scheduled to begin at 2:00 p.m.
