BREVARD, N.C. -- The Greensboro College men's lacrosse team fell to the Tornados of Brevard College Saturday 12-10.

Michael Meley gave Greensboro a 1-0 lead midway through the first period before Brevard was able to take a 2-1 lead.
Â
However,
Michael Halladay took a feed from Meley to tie the game at two heading into the second period.
Â
Greensboro was then able to strike for three goals over the first 12 minutes of the period  as Meley,
Spencer Kontoulas, and
Michael Kiley found the back of the next to give Greensboro a 5-2 edge.

Following the three-goal run by the Pride, Brevard scored two goals before
Davis Miller scored to send Greensboro into halftime with a 6-4 lead.

Despite holding on to the two-goal lead, Brevard was able to outscore Greensboro 8-4 over the final two periods to take the two-goal victory.

Kontoulas had two goals for the Pride over the final 30 minutes, while Kiley and
Philip Gerber both had one goal.
