GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Greensboro College baseball team
Greensboro took a 1-0 lead in the third inning after
Chance Bryant scored on a Cougars error.
The Pride then extended their lead to 4-0 with a three-run sixth inning.
Jacob Rodriguez recorded a RBI double to get the scoring started before coming in to score the second run of the inning on a
Blake Carroll double to center field.
Two batter later,
Tyler Price hit a double to left center to score Carroll and give the Pride a four-run lead.
Greensboro did not stop there as
Brayden King hit a RBI double in the eighth to push the lead to 5-0.
In the ninth,
Chenzo Scanio struck out the first batter of the inning before going on to record his first save of the season.
King and Bryant each had two hits in the victory while
Eli Moravick picked up his second win of the season.
