RALEIGH, N.C. – Angela Niles tallied two goals as the Greensboro College women's soccer team picked up a 3-0 USA South Athletic Conference victory at William Peace University Saturday.
Niles gave Greensboro a one-goal halftime lead after finding the back of the net off an assist from
Madison Karch.
The score then remained 1-0 until 10 minutes into the second half while Niles slotted the ball into the left corner of the goal, following an assist by
Anna Rae Porcelli. Despite hold on to the two-goal lead, Greensboro was not done there as
Alexis Chase got behind the Pacers defense in the 76
th minute and tucked the ball into the net for the game's final goal.
Greensboro outshot the Pacers 21-3 on the day while placing 13 shots on goal.
Kelsey Emrich took the win in goal for the Pride after stopping the lone shot she faced.
