RALEIGH, N.C. – The Greensboro College volleyball team dropped a pair of USA South matches at a tri-match hosted by Meredith College Saturday.
The Pride fell to Pfeiffer University in the first match 3-1 before suffering a 3-0 defeat to the host Angels.
In Pfeiffer match, Greensboro dropped the first two sets by scores of 25-11 and 25-13 before sending the match into a fourth set with a 25-22 win.
The Pride then suffered a 25-19 setback in the deciding set.
Alycia Artis had a team-leading 10 kills, while
Sarah Egbers and
Jordan Ware had seven kills apiece.
Tori Belcher had a team-high 20 digs.
Following their loss to the Falcons, Greensboro lost by scores of 25-19, 25-23 and 25-16.
Egbers and Ware combined for 13 kills in the loss and
Katie Clark had 16 assists,
