GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Greensboro College men's lacrosse team fell to the Lions of Piedmont College on Senior Day Saturday, 8-6.
Piedmont struck late in the first period to take their first lead at 1-0.
The Pride immediately answered back at the start of the second period after

Kyle Dahlin for Greensboro's first goal of the game.
The Lions then went on a two-goal streak to go into the half with a 3-1 lead.
Piedmont's offense caught fire in the third period and put up three unanswered goals to extend their lead to 6-1.
Greensboro's offense came back to life in the fourth period and cut the lead to 6-3. Seniors

Kyle Dahlin scored the Pride's two goals.
The Pride continued to fight and put up two more goals, but Piedmont's offense kept pace securing the four-goal victory.
"I think we could have come out and played a little bit more disciplined in the first half," Head Coach
Mike Foderaro said. "Whether it was penalties or not doing the little things right, we didn't do ourselves any favors and Piedmont capitalized.
"I would like to thank my seniors for helping giving me so far what is the best season I have had at Greensboro. Hopefully we get some help and get into the conference tournament so we get a chance to see these teams again."
