FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – The Greensboro College men's lacrosse team fell to Methodist University Wednesday, 13-6.
Greensboro took a one-goal lead midway through the first period when
Daniel Wolf scored off an assist from
Davis Miller.
Methodist then score the game's next four goals to take a 4-1 lead before Miller scored a goal of his own to pull the Pride to within two goals.
Following Miller's goal, the Wolf from Miller duo struck once again to pull Greensboro to within 4-3.
However, Methodist scored the next six goals to extend their margin to 10-3 midway through the third period before Wolf tallied hit third goal of the game.
Over the final 16 minutes of play, the Monarchs outscored the Pride 3-2 to secure the victory.
Davis Miller and Wolf accounted for Greensboro's two goals.
Chris DiBlasi took the loss despite recording 14 saves, while
Tim Martin also had one save in five minutes of action.
