GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Greensboro College baseball team defeated the Pacers of William Peace University Friday, 9-3.
The Pride took a nine-run lead into the ninth inning before the Pacers struck for three runs. Greensboro then retired WPU to secure the victory.

Andrew Ray, Brain Robbett, and
Zach Neumeister each had at least one RBI.
"The guys swung the bats really well today," Head Coach
Frank Maldonado said. "Even though we jumped out to an early lead, the guys competed for a full nine innings."
Robbett,
Bram Johnson, and Lisk each had a team-high three hits, while
Mac Graham and Neumeister recorded two hits apiece.
Adam Murray picked up the win following seven shutout innings, while recording six strikeouts.
