GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Greensboro College baseball team dropped the opening-game of a three-game USA South set with the Panthers of Ferrum College Saturday, 4-0.

"Adam (Murray) went toe-to-toe with last year's pitcher of the year and gave us a chance to win," Head Coach
Frank Maldonado said. "We just could not cash in on some RBI opportunities. I am very proud of how the guys competed, and I hope that they can carry that into tomorrow's games."
James Wilkins recorded the Pride's lone hit. Murray, who pitched a stellar 6 2/3 innings, took the loss.
Edward Dorunda and
Mitch Choros combined to pitch the final 2 1/3 innings.
