GREENSBORO, N.C. – Daniel Wolfe and
Denis Radcliffe each scored two goals, but the Pride men's lacrosse team fell to Alma College 12-7 Wednesday.
Alma (4-0) took a 7-0 lead before Radcliffe got the Pride (1-4) on the board in the second period.
Follow another Alma goal, Wolf, Radcliffe, and
Jonathan Avedesian each found the back of the net, pulling the Pride to within 8-4.
The Scots then extended ther margin to 12-4 before
Jervon Speller,
Tamarie Sterling, and Wolf scored the last three goals of the game.
Lamar Jelks, who won 13 of 18 face-offs, picked up a team-high eight ground balls, while
Dominic Scott and
Joseph Stump each picked up three.
Detione Jones, who made 12 saves, took the loss in goal.
