"We had another solid outing by Adam (Murray)," Head Coach
Frank Maldonado said. " I am very proud of how far he has come, not only as a pitcher but as a position player.
"Offensively we had our opportunities, but could not cash in. We are continue to compete for a full nine innings of baseball, and I could not ask for more."
Lisk finished the game with a team-high three hits, while Willard had two hits.
Brandon Soden,
Mac Graham,
Cody York, and
James Wilkins each had one hit.

The Monarchs then scored the next nine runs, securing the ten run victory.
"We came out early with very productive at bats, but could not maintain the momentum offensively in game two," Maldonado said. "On the mound we did not execute pitches when we needed to and a talented team like Methodist capitalized on that. We looking forward to competing in another nine innings tomorrow."
